Critical Incident Response Team

In the immediate aftermath of a critical incident, those who have been affected or impacted may begin to experience symptoms associated with critical incident stress – a normal physiological and psychological response to abnormal events.

The Critical Incident Response Team is a group of mental health professionals who provide rapidly deployable, trauma-informed support to those who identify in need of care during an institution-wide crisis. The Team aligns with principles informed by best practices in trauma-informed mental health support and psychological first aid.
