During an emergency, the University of Toronto will share critical information through multiple channels including UTAlert, the U of T Safety App, the University of Toronto website, and via social media.
To prepare yourself to stay informed during an emergency, we recommend the following:
- Confirm your contact details are correct in the UTAlert system and add a cell phone number to your UTAlert subscription to receive text message alerts.
- Download the U of T Safety App on your mobile device.
- Make note of the additional communication platforms used on your campus, including the University of Toronto website, and social media channels.
